Wheres the Breaking News?

When I first got this app, a year ago, there used to only be a few notifications every hour about REAL breaking and developing news. Now its filled with junk like "Obama to fly to ..." or "FBI is still thinking about ..."
I originally got this app so I can be alerted by REAL and ERGENT NEWS. Now when I go through the feed, it is jam packed with so much stuff, it is too hard to pin-point any actual useful information.
