Terrific app! When I downloaded "Breaking News" I expected another disappointing, fly-by-night news app that I would delete within hours (or sometimes minutes). Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to find a professional, genuinely helpful news service! Your alert curation is perfect for me - not too frequent, credibly sourced, globally inclusive, and you ALWAYS beat the "big guys" (e.g., NYT, WaPo). Your speed is comparable to Twitter without the noise. You make me look very clever when I am the first to forward a big story to my news junkie friends. Keep up the good work!!

The watch app is great for keeping up with news

This app gives you the biased "journalism" du jour. Sure, they select fair information on earthquake or hurricane news, but the same old tilted left journalism. Libs: youre going to love it whenever you are away from your NY Times or Clinton News Network, you can rely on Breaking News to select articles to keep your heads buried in the sand.

When I first got this app, a year ago, there used to only be a few notifications every hour about REAL breaking and developing news. Now its filled with junk like "Obama to fly to ..." or "FBI is still thinking about ..." I originally got this app so I can be alerted by REAL and ERGENT NEWS. Now when I go through the feed, it is jam packed with so much stuff, it is too hard to pin-point any actual useful information.

Its nearly always first with the story, ahead of other news apps. I travel a fair amount, and the app moves with me, alerting me to breaking news wherever I go. Highly recommended.

Beware if you post an update that it will pin your actual location so dont do any updates from your home or where you dont want people to know your location

11/12/2016 - THE BEST source for news abroad and local on my iPhone 7 Plus. I dont have the pre installed news any more 11/1/2016 - I only put this back on my iPhone 7 Plus because of current world events. When this and other apps gets taken over by New World Order and George Soros and no longer provides true unbiased news, Ill stop using for good. When I first downloaded Breaking News I was excited. Now when I try to watch some videos or read some articles, I get these stupid ads popping up telling me Ive won an mac book, iPad, or iPhone. This is stupid. This app is going off my phone and I will no longer use it.

Good app for being on top of issues

I never have written an app review before, but this is the best app I use. The way you guys break down stories into categories that can then be individually followed is amazing. The only thing I wish could change would be more than 10 topics for push alerts.

Great app. Always see news first from this app. Easy to use, great settings with regards of what you want to see and be notified about.

If your interested in just headlines, fine, this app is for you. Its ridiculous that when a headline link is clicked, that your rerouted to buy a subscription to the source in order to read the story. Especially when the story is near you.

I want to know all the news thats being made everywhere, all the time but I dont want ALL the details all the time. This app gives me just that. I get the info in two or three sentences and then I can get more on the stories of my choice. This is the best app on my phone!!!

Im rarely compelled to write one of these. I have to say, everyone should download this. The editors are on their game (Imana, hbic tonight w/ North Korea thing). I have about every traditional news app made by wires and newspapers and radios. Breaking News updates first and updates better (multimedia, editor notes, etc.). Download. Or dont and be behind.

*** Suggestion: Would like to have search feature for news topics****** ---- Keeps me updated on news I want to know about and allows me to filter out what Im not interested in. Would like a map link to story notifications, but otherwise its my go-to app for news.

Wish there was a theme to make a night view mode

The app is great! The Whoa survey does not work. It crashes at the last question that asks for other feedback. So probably a lot of surveys are lost.

Could be better.

This app represents many many people around the world dedicated to providing TIMELY, accurate insights to whats happening - everywhere. You "people on duty" are right on it, clarifying/expanding the news received, as needed.
