This app is usually first to alert you of stories that are beginning to develop nationwide. Usually ends up beating most networks. Though I do like that they can cite various sources, they tend to always cite NBC though others have broken it already. (I know NBC owns the app). Still, wish it was just a hair more neutral. But still worth a 5 star review.

Dont blink when you open this News App. It is fast, concise, and on the money. Best for bringing the story now.

Its nearly always first with the story, ahead of other news apps. You can get breaking news alerts for just about any interest or place - its like your own breaking newsroom. Extremely addictive.

I love being able to get the latest breaking news wherever I am! Getting alerts before the news networks is great!

I like using Breaking News for a quick overview of National and International News. It gives me another resource beyond MSNBC and local newspapers. I get quick overviews of events faster and easier then carrying anything but my IPAD! I can use your news as a good resource to reference in conversation with friends. Hello , Im Charisma and I just wanted 2b sure I let everybody know that I have been using the Breaking News App for the news and updates that are important 2me and not just filler. It lets you choose how far out from your home/location you wish to have your news from and also gives you important updated /breaking news on earth quakes as well. I am in the Midwest where they are not common at all up until here lately. Crime tracking to storm tracking to whats going on . I am in the know and love this service. Thank you Breaking News for keeping up with the things that I need/want most for my home & family. I urge others to give it a try and see just how easy it is to navigate and understand.

I dont rate apps as a rule but this one deserves a top rating. I once had a lot storage devoted to news apps.then I realized Breaking News was besting them all hands down. As a result I now have deleted all but three and one of the three is a scanner app not really a news app. Breaking News has some great features other apps dont. I love that you can specifically target coverage and get all the major coverage too. (I tried typing in "shootings USA" and boy was that an eye opener) Only mild complaint, its a little light covering my local news. I think We dont have a lot going on tho.

Does notifications great, but when try to go to site, app crashes. Please fix this bug

I have so many news apps and I use this one first. It is really great at information on incidents happening in your specific area as well as around the world. Great way to stay on top of real breaking news and not just the same cycle.

This is the best all around news app in the app store. I get breaking news alerts on major stories from this app first before any of the other major news apps. Also, on the "NOW" page, it has lots of up-to-the-minute and most recent news.

This is how you make a world class App. Breaking News brings top-notch functionality (in this case very timely new coverage) and a clean user interface without obtrusive adverts. Best app available on iOS hands down.
